Maryland Million 2018

The 2018 Maryland Million event faced several challenges including an Electronic Musicians Concert which was to be held on the existing parking lot – occupying parking spaces that would otherwise have been used by patrons, the need for dedicated ride-share areas for drop off and pickup, and maintenance of pedestrian and vehicular flow during peak times throughout the day – to include documentation of parking totals and possible vehicular/pedestrian backups for future event planning decisions.

Grand Prix of Baltimore 2011 and 2013

The Grand Prix of Baltimore closed most of the downtown streets which resulted in impacts to all the local businesses in the Central Business District (CBD) plus it conflicted with Baltimore Orioles baseball games at Camden Yards.

Great Wolf Lodge

The Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, Maryland will be the brand’s largest resort in the country – boasting 700 suites and a 126,000 square foot indoor water park, amongst other attractions and entertainment options.

Yorkridge Shopping Center

The Traffic Group undertook a traffic study and parking analysis to demonstrate that excess parking existed at the York Ridge Shopping Center allowing for the redevelopment and repurposing of a portion of the parking lot given that parking metrics have changed in recent years.

Woodmoore Towne Centre

Anchored by Wegmans, Costco, JC Penney and Best Buy, Woodmore Towne Centre is a 245-acre mixed-use development conveniently located at the interchange of I–95/I–495 and Landover Road in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Baltimore Avenue Apartments

As part of this project, a traffic impact analysis, a bicycle and pedestrian safety analysis, and design were necessary to address safety along Baltimore Avenue.

Patuxent Greens

The Patuxent Greens Golf Course had been a staple in the City of Laurel for many years. As golf, as a sport, fell out of favor, the owner of this private golf course took the opportunity to sell the land for residential development.

National Business Park

The purpose of conducting the traffic analysis for this site was to determine if the buildout of 3,500,000 square feet of office space could be accommodated with an access point to the north at MD 175 and an access point to the south at MD 32.
