Turf Valley

Comprising approximately 1600 dwelling units, 375 age restricted units, 500,000 square feet of commercial use, a 225-room hotel/conference center, 36 golf holes, and a 165-bed nursing home/assisted living facility, Turf Valley is one of Howard County’s largest mixed-use developments. With access to the site limited to only two locations and one access close to an interchange, road improvements were needed to provide adequate capacity and safety. The Traffic Group developed conceptual designs to address the capacity and safety issues and coordinated with the government agencies to develop an overall road system to accommodate the projected traffic. The road improvements are currently under construction in coordination with State and County plans to provide a cohesive road network for the future.
