The Traffic Group prepared a Traffic Impact Study to review existing operations at site access points and adjacent intersections to quantify impacts that an expansion to accommodate an additional 500 students would have on the road system.
The Traffic Group prepared a Traffic Impact Study to review existing operations at site access points and adjacent intersections to quantify impacts that an expansion to accommodate an additional 500 students would have on the road system. In addition to traditional turning movement counts, school arrival and dismissal operations were observed using drone technology. Multiple options were considered to determine the most effective layout of access points and queue storage area on site.
