We are thrilled to share the amazing accomplishment of our colleague, Qiang Tian at the 2023 Chicago Marathon! The event, a world class and Platinum Label marathon, took place on October 8, 2023. It was the 45th edition of the annual race and the fifth out of six World Marathon Majors events scheduled for the year. The race also hosted the age group world championships. Nearly 50,000 runners from all 50 states and 100 countries participated, including Qiang. Qiang finished with a personal best time of 2:57:36, securing the 2,612th place overall. Qiang’s goal is to finish all six World Marathon Majors with an average time under three hours. He has completed the Boston, London, and Chicago marathons, and is set to run the New York City Marathon in November. Tokyo and Berlin marathons are next on his list.
