This time of year, we’re all a little kinder and more generous. But, at The Traffic Group, we have worked to create an environment within the company that results in community spirit and consistent community involvement throughout the year, by corporate officers and individual team members alike.
Throughout the year, we make a point to support organizations large and small. One of the multiple ways The Traffic Group gives back is by helping deserving college applicants realize their dreams of a quality education through endowments and scholarships. Education – and helping others pay for the high cost of tuition – has always been important to Wes, our company president. As a Board Member for the Essex Community College Foundation for roughly a dozen years, Wes understands high cost of education. For this reason, The Traffic Group established a scholarship designed for any staff member or their family – as well as others outside the company. This scholarship is designed to pay full tuition for students that apply and has helped many families over the years since it was started.
And giving back doesn’t just stop with company-related programs and donations. Members of our team volunteer their time and energy outside the workplace to a host of organizations including the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and the M.U.S.E. Foundation, helping to raise millions of dollars for Cystic Fibrosis research.
Why do we give? Simply put, because we care. We think one person, or company, can make a difference in the lives of others. Is there any better reason?
