Baltimore Avenue Apartments

As part of this project, a traffic impact analysis, a bicycle and pedestrian safety analysis, and design were necessary to address safety along Baltimore Avenue.

This housing project is in an area of College Park, Prince George’s County, Maryland that requires major infrastructure changes planned by the state government. The Traffic Group was engaged by the client to find mitigating transportation improvements that were in compliance with the state’s long-range plan and not financially detrimental to the project.

We worked very closely with various government agencies to deliver solutions and improvements that were sound and cost-effective, including expanded crosswalks, safer movements, ADA compliance, capacity enhancements, and increased transit stops.
