Located in Howard County, Maryland, the Waverly Woods mixed-use development includes residential, retail, office, golf course, a public school, and elderly housing. The site is bordered by two-lane roads and a freeway. Improvements were needed to accommodate the projected traffic and coordination of the improvements was necessary due to public improvements to a nearby interchange. The Traffic Group developed road improvement plans to accommodate the traffic. The improvements and maintenance of traffic plans were done in phases to accommodate the off-site road improvements planned by government. The improvements developed by The Traffic Group have been constructed with temporary pavement markings waiting for the government project to be constructed.
